Lisa LeConte

Lisa LeConte lives in Iowa and has a BA in Education with a focus on gifted students. She has taught U.S. History standards to grades 3-7, and has done freelance writing and proofreading for textbooks, history articles and blogs for 15 years. Lisa's philosophy on teaching can be creatively summed up in the Andy Griffith episode "Mayberry Minutemen." Seriously! Look it up. She knows that if you can teach the events of the past like a gloriously intriguing story, students will be just as passionate as her about American history. Some of her lessons can be seen on her Teachers Pay Teachers website.
